A new challenge for WIs in Devon

The Devon Federation was asked to knit trauma teddies that are given to people facing devastating incidents or loss. They still need our help and the Teds have been and are still being used on a daily basis.  They are sent to Devon and Cornwall Police; Air Ambulance and Dartmoor search and rescue as well as the Fire and Rescue service which co-ordinates the donations.

The little Teds have made so many children happy after some especially traumatic times.  They have made dementia patients happy and some have been sent out to Ukraine, so their impact is far reaching.
