Radio Devon Cup Writing Competition 2022

Members are invited to write a Sonnet (14 lines)
Title: “Open your Eyes”

CLOSING DATE: FRIDAY 25 FEBRUARY 2022

RULES OF THE COMPETITION

1. The entry should be entirely the entrants own work.
2. Send two copies of each entry printed on A4 size paper. Print on one side of each page only please. IN ADDITION, PLEASE RETAIN YOUR OWN COPY.
3. No more than 2 entries per person will be accepted.
4. The entrants name and WI should be written clearly on the back of your entry and accompanied by the entry form and appropriate fee.
5. Cost per entry is £5.00 (£8.00 for two from same individual) cheques made payable to DFWI.
6. The Competition will be judged prior to the Spring Council Meeting 2022, where entries will be displayed. The Winner will be contacted beforehand and presented with the cup at the meeting.
7. Entries may be collected from the Spring Council Meeting or returned to you by post provided you have included a self addressed stamped envelope.
8. Entries to be sent to Pat Wyatt with the entry form on the adjoining page prior to the Closing Date – 25 February 2022
9. THE JUDGES DECISION WILL BE FINAL.
10. The Federation reserves the right to retain a copy of each entry for future use by the Federation or one of its sub committees.
11. The Committee accepts no liability for loss in the post.
