St. George’s Day Trophy Competition 2022

Design: Create a design for a new book jacket for your favourite book in any medium.
Subject: “Entries to feature either classic, modern, fiction, non-fiction or a poetry collection.”

CLOSING DATE: FRIDAY 25 FEBRUARY 2022

RULES OF THE COMPETITION

1. The book jacket must be no more that A4 size and just feature the front cover. The book’s title or the author’s name must appear in your design.
2. The entry should be entirely the entrant’s own work.
3. Only one entry per person will be accepted.
4. The entrant’s name and W.I. should be clearly written and attached to your entry accompanied by the appropriate fee.
5. Cost per entry is £5.00 made payable to DFWI.
6. The Competition will be judged prior to the Spring Council Meeting 2022, where the entries will be displayed. The Winner will be contacted beforehand and presented with the Trophy at the Meeting.
7. Entries may be collected from the Spring Council Meeting or, an appropriate stamped self-addressed envelope or box for return by post, should be included.
8. Entries should be sent to Pat Wyatt with the entry form on the adjoining page prior to the Closing Date 25 February 2022
9. THE JUDGES DECISION WILL BE FINAL.
10. The Committee accepts no liability for loss in the post.
